Cathy Grant, a self-taught artist, lives in Uriah, AL. Cathy finds salvages items and with a paintbrush in hand creates works of art. Old windows, century old barn wood and modern cement board to name a few. Her use of the salt wash technique adds an unexpected and beautiful texture. Her preferred medium is acrylic.

Sherri Scott, a self-taught artist from the Goodway community, arrived to Monroe County in 1998, after being swept off her feet by her husband, Samuel. Sherri has participated in fine art shows selling her watercolor, oil, and acrylic pieces for many years.
Caroline Stacey, lifelong Monroe County resident, is a recent graduate of Monroe Academy and current student at the University of Alabama. She has been painting and competing in art shows since she was little. Caroline loves that art is universal and that it can truly benefit anyone that opens their heart and mind to the possibilities of imagination.

Julie Banks is a self-taught artist born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She graduated from Clarke Preparatory School in 2008 and has lived in Mexia since 2018. Julie grew up enjoying everything arts and craft related and painted anything she could get her hands on.

Melissa Wilson, self-taught artist from Atmore, Alabama finds inspiration in many small-town communities that help influence her creative style and process. Melissa uses art as an outlet to help her relax. She specializes in acrylic and focuses on animal portraits, landscapes, and bright pieces. Many of her pieces have been shown at local art shows in Atmore and Monroeville.

Andrea Windham Guy is a lifelong Monroe County native that grew up in Peterman, AL. She is a self-taught artist who started painting after her grandmother, Audrey York Helton gave her the gift of oil paints with instructions for her 12th birthday. Guy is an award-winning regional artist that has had featured shows in Montgomery, Mobile, and Camden Alabama just to name a few. She is a single mother of three girls and is passing the love of art to her children.
